YoLP – the name of this new project – is to create an app that will allow the user, when reading a menu, to receive suggestions according to his very personal taste, in what concerns food and drinks, as the app has access to the user’s «eating profile». The app will also allow the user to order and pay for meals electronically.
The project will investigate and develop a search engine using Bayesian model taking into account the analyses of historical food data and context, in order to get projections of tastes’ probabilities, based on other situations lived by people with similar tastes. The goal is to make suggestions based on the map models of tastes, which proximity lies on an experimental defined point.
This project was approved by QREN.
